chair28's Full Review: Margaritaville DM0500 Blender
We LOVE smoothies & when our smoothie maker broke at the beginning of summer we were on the Quest for another machine. After purchasing 2 different blenders & not being satisfied that we had found the Perfect machine I saw this Margaritiville Machine. We were pretty much sold at the store except for the price, so I decided to come home & do a little research. Hardly anyone had anything bad to say about it. Everyone says it's the GREATEST Machine, so the next day we went out to buy it. We bring it home, put it together (not much to it), & make a smoothie. It worked like a charm, but when drinking the smoothie I quickly realized that there were quite a few ice chunks. We put it back into the machine & tried blending it for longer, but it didn't help much. It would be PERFECT for a icy margarita, but if you're wanting a smooth drink this isn't the machine for you. We eventually landed on the 5 speed Blender by KitchenAid. PERFECT MACHINE! This Margaritaville machine Looks Great & Works Great, but it's too pricey for what it does! Save yourself 100 bucks & get the KitchenAid if you're wanting to make more than Margaritas!
