We stayed at this hotel because my husband was attending a conference. This is a great hotel for this type of situation. The staff was very helpful and everything was organized. This would NOT be a wise choice for someone who is vacationing in LA. The hotel is about an hour or two from the airport depending on traffic. It takes forever to get downtown or back to the beach. If however you like to golf or are attending a conference this is perfect. They have under gone a large rehab and upgraded the restaurants, spa and golfing facility. The rooms were roomy and comfortable and every room has a view of either the golf course or the mountains and pool. The grounds are large and make for a nice place to stroll at night. The other drawbacks, beside location, is the pool area is off to the side and not centrally located. They also have no bar area near the pool or any way of ordering something. There is not much around the resort area except neighborhoods. This hotel is great for conference but not vacations.
