I recently went shopping for snowboard bindings. With the wide variety of bindings now available, I was unsure of which ones were right for me.
I have been snowboarding for 3 years now. This winter I taught snowboarding and have learned a lot about the different equipment. I knew that at the end of the year I would need to get new equipment. I didn't want to be confused when I went to buy new stuff. Whenever I saw someone with different bindings I asked them for the pros and cons of them. With all the bindings their were a couple complaints. The people who had purchased Sims had nothing bad to say about them. Everyone told me they were the best bindings they had ever ridden, and that they loved everything about them.
So recently when I went shopping for new bindings, I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for. The Sims bindings immediately got my attention.
I ended up buying the Sims bindings. There are a lot of things I love about these bindings. The first thing I noticed was how quickly and easily I got them out of the box and on screwed onto my board.
I love the straps on these bindings. The ratchet system is great, so you can strap in quick and get the straps as tight as you want. The release system is also really nice.
The high back on these bindings is perfect. It's big, and easily adjustable. There is a small screw driver in the back of the bindings that lets you adjust the forward lean quickly. These bindings have a built in toe ramp, that helps engage the toe edge quicker and prevents toe drag.
In conclusion, I love my Sims bindings. They generally sell at around $155. I got mind at an "end of season" sale for $120. I recommend these bindings for people of all skill levels. I hope you give them a chance, and have fun with them.
