Pros: Very sleek, cool look, easy to set up, easy to use
Cons: Not upgradeable
The Bottom Line: I personally would not recommend the system so someone who wants total control, and if you are not worried about the look, go with Panasonic.

| tbonescott's Full Review: Sony DAV-C900 Theater System |
I like the system over all, but there are a couple of things that bother me about it. First and foremost is the fact that I can't add any components to it. I have other equipment (VCR, Video Game Console) that I want to add, but can't. In this aspect, it is not a true home theater system. This is good for a person who doesn't want to spend a whole bunch of money and is not very technically minded.
It was definitely easy to set up, and is easy to operate. The color coding is nice, but in my opinion, not necessary. The speakers are easy to hide, but they look so good, you don't have to.
As far a sound, it is pretty good, but lacking on the low end.
I generally buy Sony products, but have recently begun a little more research, and found that Panasonic offers the same system (without the look)for about $200 less.
