| Kenyada's Full Review: Sony RM-AV3000 LCD Touchscreen Remote Control |
The Sony RM-AV3000 was designed with Home Theater in mind. It does everything, including dim the lights! Don't worry about the poorly written User's Manual. There is an excellent forum online at RemoteCentral.com, that will answer all of your questions.
The design of the AV3000 seems to have incorporated all of the best features of Sony's previous models... and then added a few more. It's almost intuitive in the way in which it is prepared to tackle each challenge presented by today's high tech, hi-definition set ups.
Even my wife, never a big fan of universal remotes, has really adapted well to the AV3000's flexibility in programming. The touch screen is beautiful, but several times more functional than it is attractive. It is solid, and feels like the piece of electronic equipment that it is.
No lightweight toy, it was built to take the mishaps of the Den.
