Pros: Good Performance, Big Screen
Cons: Pricey, Heavy, Fragile, Battery Life, Short Power Cord.
The Bottom Line: If you want the demonstrator of an over-priced, heavy, plastic boat anchor, try one today. I guarantee big problems with the CD-RW/DVD Drive, it WILL break.

Going on my good impression of my other Sony products, I thought that the top-end VAIO would be a good laptop to buy... WRONG!! I bought this thing at the local Sony Store for a rather hefty sum of $4299 Canadian, (I thought it was reasonable) After getting it home and turning it on, I noticed some software had not been installed yet, upon going through the box, not only was a CD missing, the XP book was not sealed in plastic. Later when I went to install some software and the CD-RW/DVD Combo drive broke after just three uses and I was unable to close it. I called the store and soon discovered that they had sold me a demo model and it was discontinued, I was shocked!
NOW I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SONY PRODUCT EVER!
