| tomcorbett's Full Review: Sony Walkman WM-FX281 Personal Cassette Player |
It's been a long time since I had a tape walkman, but I started listening to audio books on tape and wanted something to use when I wasn't in the car.
This one does the job with absolutely no complaints. The headphones are better than any other basic included-in-the-box 'phones I've gotten with other devices. Sound quality is as good I expected from a tape player and the volume is sufficiently loud. Tape hiss is perceptible, as you'd expect in any player without Dolby.
The digital tuner works as expected with good reception. A useful vinyl sleeve with beltclip is also included.
What more you ask for, for 30 bucks?
