I love body washes. I am always changing them around to get a different scent going. About two months ago, a friend of mine sent me a bottle of St Ives Whipped Silk Ultra Moisturizing Body Wash. She had claimed it was one of the best and after using it since then, I have to say I agree with her.
St Ives Whipped Silk Ultra Moisturizing Body Wash comes in a tall thin bottle with 13.5 fl oz. The only scent it comes in is Soft Petal Breeze. St Ives claims that you will have "silky soft and moisturizing" skin after each use. I definitely agree with that statement.
When you squeeze the St Ives Whipped Silk Ultra Moisturizing Body Wash out of the bottle with a flip top cap, it looks like purple lotion. When you use it with a washcloth or a pouf, it lathers right up. The lather is great and the scent smells like flowers to me. The scent isn't overwhelming that it would bother you, but actually quite pleasant. It lingers on your skin for a little while after your shower or bath but it doesn't stay with you for the whole day and wouldn't interfere with any perfume you may put on after showering.
The St Ives Whipped Silk Ultra Moisturizing Body Wash is silky and smooth when you put it on. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling on your skin when done. It made of Pure Glacier Water for "nature's pure form of moisture." There are Swiss Botanicals for "skin nourishing" and Vitamins used at anti-oxidants.
The directions for use are:
Pour onto moistened pouf, sponge, washcloth ot hands. Woth into lather and rinse.
St Ives does not test on animals for their products as well which I highly approve of and just gives me another reason to replenish my bottle of St Ives Whipped Silk Ultra Moisturizing Body Wash.
~Ingredients(taken from packaging)~
Water, sodium trideceth sulfate, cocamide mea, sunflower seed oil, sodium lauroamphoacetate, sodium laureth sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, dimethicone, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, panthenol, tocopheryl acetate, retinyl palmitate, ascorbic acid, hydrolyzed silk, matricaria extract, sunflower extract, primula veris extract, sambucus nigra flower extract, propylene glycol, sodium chloride, disodium EDTA, citric acid, DMDM hydantoin, fragrance, red 33, blue 1, ext. violet 2
I love the St Ives Whipped Silk Moisturizing Body Wash. It smells fantastic and my fiance approves of the scent. The fact that it only comes in Soft Petal Breeze is the only drawback I have seen. I would love to try some other scents that they could create based on the Whipped Silk.
I recommend that you try out St Ives Whipped Silk Ultra Moisturizing Body Wash as it will get you clean, leave you with a nice soft scent of flowers, and also with moisturized skin. You don't get that greasy feeling after drying off and yet your skin feels like silk and moisturized. So go out and try a bottle.
