Pros: Easy loading. Dual force setting. Lightweight. Shoots staples & brads.
Cons: Did not consistently set staples flush.
The Bottom Line: Probably a good around the house unit, but may require additional hammering of staples. Would not recommend for upholstery work.

| mtwallet's Full Review: Stanley Bostitch Electric Staple/Nail Gun TRE500 |
Tried using for upholstering a boat seat (vinyl onto plywood), unit worked great for about one strip of staples, then only set about 1 in 4 flush with the work surface. The other 3 out of 4 were either flat and not flush or one side was flush and the other slightly raised with a kink in the middle of the staple. This went on for three more strips until I had enough. Tried blowing it out and reloading staples to no avail. Maybe just a bad unit, but decided to go back to manual stapler or maybe will try an Arrow electric.
