I have had my Epson Stylus C80 for a few months now and I love it. It was easy to hook up to my computer with little advanced knowledge of computer systems, but did require some extra purchasing of USB cables to complete the project in addition to the included ware. Set-up was easy and computer directed and I was up and running in no time.
The print quality is outstanding for a home PC printer and its quick pace cuts time for long projects. I am especially happy with the quality of the color printing from this Epson. Reports, papers, charts and pictures all are printed with excellent quality and clarity.
Starting with my first printing project I noticed how well the printer completed photographs and how quickly it got the job done. It printed the colors very true and I have had few problems with lines and printer heads. I also find the ink-monitoring window very useful, no more running out of ink in the middle of a project. This window automatically pops up during the start of any printing projects and indicates the level of available ink in all cartridges. If low, the cartridges can be bought individually so there is no ink left at the end and you just get what you need from use.
My only complaint is how fast it uses up the supplied ink. Even though the window tells me how much I have left, I am surprised to see how fast the level drops. However, with a quick click of a button I can order more ink to be delivered right to my door.
They have made it fast and easy to use, as well as stylish and capable. I would recommend the Epson Stylus C80 to anyone looking for a good work printer with advanced capabilities, without the price of major machines.
