| bedsnmotors's Full Review: Tempur-Pedic Adjustable Sleep System |
We bought the two separate extra-long twin adjustable beds. The mattresses have helped with my back pain and we love the adjustable feature BUT we had the bed a bit less than 1 year and my husband's motor went out on his side. Given that he hardly uses it, this was a shock. Luckily, the bed was under warranty and we received a new motor, had to put it on ourselves but at least it was covered. Then, 3 years into it my motor went out, it's not covered and costs almost $200 to replace and no help from them at all. We don't expect things to last forever BUT after paying $7000 for these and just getting them paid off a bit over a year ago, they just don't last. WAY too much $$ for little warranty and parts that don't last. I had a Niagra adjustable bed for 25 years and sold it as the mattresses were shot---NOT the motors! Tempur-Pedic could use lessons in how to make a motor that is reputable. We are very unhappy with the whole deal as when they sell it to you it sounds like it is LIFETIME guaranteed--not the case.
