Than striving to learn something and being confronted with all the "cutsey" jokes and ad libs!
So I hate this book already. LOL

"Wildly uneven" is a great description of both series! I love "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Publishing SF & Fantasy," but hated this one and dislike several others. I love "Webmastering for Dummies," but "Building a Web Site for Dummies" annoyed the hell out of me! Better editorial control of the series would be a godsend!

I've found these "dummies" and "idiot" books to be wildly uneven in quality. It's too bad that this one falls short. Thanks for writing about this.
