Pros: Have not had a chance to find them yet--pool remains unused
Cons: Would be better to use pop out jets for future liner replacement and standard vermiculite
The Bottom Line: This is a great concept, but there are many other similar options on the market now that are much less expensive and easier to maintain

| lizashoe's Full Review: The Endless Pool |
I purchased an Endless Pool in March 2004 after looking at the ads for about 7 years. I refinanced my home and got a home equity line for the sole purpose of going for it! I contacted Endless Pools to recommend a contractor locally, so that I would have the best installation possible. Endless Pools recommended Tim Madigan of Home Service Network and said that he had installed their product in the past. I did not look for a local installer on my own because I wanted someone familiar with all of the intricacies of the Endless Pool product. Home Service Network did not complete the install, left rocks under my liner and never smoothed the concrete and left 16" of dirt in my yard from the excavation---killing all of my grass and leaving my yard looking like a dump-site as of 5/21/04. I have contacted Endless Pools, inclusive of the Founder, James Murdock, repeatedly to enlist their help in getting the work completed to no avail. I have paid other local pool professionals come to my home to quote the work to remove the rocks from underneath the liner--the cost is exorbitant and the degree of difficulty in replacing the liner in general with all of the spa jet that I purchased is worse. According to Endless Pools, the liner should be replaced about every 10 years--mine needs it now as it will last no longer than 2 years at the most. Mr. Murdock refused to send a field representative or engineer to look at the pool and finally made an offer of a new liner and $500 toward installation. I have already spent $39,000 ($13,000 installation) on a pool that has remained unused since May--once by my mother and aunt on Mother's Day and since only twice by myself to check for the number of rocks and twice by outside professionals to quote for repair. I am completely shocked that a company with such a highly regarded product refuses to support their product--this may not be a large expense to most, but this was a huge expense for me. I now have to spend money additionally to make my now "used" pool more like new and to arbitrate because no one from Endless Pools or Home Service Network (aka Great Northern Construction Company-Tim Madigan of Chapel Hill, NC)is willing to assume responsibility for the mistakes made. I have been in my home for over 11 years and have had a lot of additions made to my home. I can unequivocally say that I have never had such buyer's remorse in my life. If anyone is interested in photos and documentation, please feel free to contact me.
