Pros: sturdy and comfortable
Cons: a little pricey
The Bottom Line: Wow, I am surprised they asked my height for the review. At least they didn't ask for my weight.

I am a person who has done everything from stay the whole summer in a platform tent to sleeping under the stars. I need a quality sleeping bag and The North Face company always delivers.
This sleeping bag is great for hiking. It is lightweight and easy to put in your backpack. It is surprisingly easy to compress to the size you need.
A feature I like is the hood. You can put it over your face and just have your nose and mouth out in the cold. You can adjust the hood with the drawstrings to the right fit for you.
There is a pillow pouch which you can stuff with your clothes to make a nice pillow. I like the fact that you don't actually have to bring a pillow if you are short on space.
You can put your watch or small alarm into the watch pouch which is right by your head. I love this if I have to get up at a certain time and you have no electricity for an alarm clock.
If it is cold you will like the draft sleeve. It fits nicely over the zipper so no air will come through the zipper.
The zipper has never got stuck. This has been a pain with other bags especially when it is very cold. It is very sturdy and is easy to grip.
When you are not using your Northface Cat's Meow 3D sleeping bag you can put it in the convenient storage bag. I make sure I air it out before I put it away.
It is rated for 15 degree weather. I must admit I do not camp in the middle of winter. The polyguard insulation makes this almost a year round sleeping bag. I camp with this bag in the spring, summer and the autumn. It is even fun for the teenage sleepovers.
I have used this sleeping bag by The North Face for a couple of years. It looks like it did when I purchased it. It is also the most comfortable sleeping bag in which I have slept. There is nothing like waking up after sleeping in a thin or lumpy sleeping bag.
I was this bag on the gentle cycle of my washing machine. I hang it to dry. It does take several hours for it to dry completely. This is important before you put it away so you don't have moldy sleeping bag the next time you need it.
If you are looking to buy this sleeping bag you may want to look in the autumn. I found it marked down and on sale. I purchased the bag for less than 100 dollars.
