I bought this book after listening to the Dave Ramsey Show on the radio for a few months. It was an easy read and laid out a lot of the same principles that Dave talks about on the show.
I like the way the book explains how to get out of debt and build wealth in detail. It tells you exactly how to get out of debt and even provides a lot of forms in the back of the book such as a cash flow plan and debt snowball. The other great thing that the book explains is how to budget when you have an irregular income which is a problem for a lot of small business owners. This is an excellent book to start out with for someone who is just starting to budget and learn how to handle money more responsibly.
The debt snowball and cash flow plans etc. will work if followed correctly, I have personally been on the "Dave Ramsey Plan" for three years and it has made a huge difference in my life. It is possible to get out of debt by being disciplined and paying attention to where the money goes.
The only problem I can think of with the book is that it is kind of high level when it comes to investing. There are plenty of other books that cover this in more detail though. I think the book does a good job of covering all of the basics and I would recommend reading it.
