Pros: A great book with wit, charm, humor, and underplayed sarcasm.
Cons: A pity this isn't included as required reading to balance schools.
The Bottom Line: For either Democrat or Republican this should be required reading to know both parties.

Rush brings to light what many of us have wanted to point out in society as a whole for years. That for a large part we are not perfect even the so called Reagen-Conservatives. Instead of improving and questioning are own leaders in either party any question is basically a why and how as to falling in line behind fearless leader. Little drips and drabs of truth he paints stains on both parties. Even though in the contextual base some may see it as biased read deeper. He knows that much of the information which his party has committed is not excluded and he matter of fact presents it as such.
Instead of relying upon Government grants or being a paid whipping boy he illustrates and contrasts the rights of all above the rights of sum. His questioning of religion for me is very important living in Maine. Someone is allowed to worship Allah and why aren't our children allowed to worship in fact the same God? The bases of education should be flatly American and not revised or rein-visioned to fit a party, which means rather then embracing America is always right is a misconception for those who don't understand what point he wrote and drove home. Treating any American badly is wrong and in fact he drives that home in a treatise development on how to educate.
The treatment of Native Americans was wrong, slavery was wrong, targeting at risk minorities as a symbolism of creating wealth is... WRONG! In fact by what the business world has done today in targeting everyone for loan and deregulating itself has proven fraudulent on a grander scale. What is this called when someone speaks out against it? Racist, however what's it called when someone who has been there as a salesman to bear that weight, it's called fact. Rush targets what has happened and has impaired are Nation into a degree of turning toward others and saying that this is a reality and any mention of shark salesman targeting minorities as a lie is full of it.
Shark savings and loans administrations knew what they were doing and it's amazing this little bell curve didn't serve as a notice. Instead everyone thought that okay I'm approved and they weren't being targeted. What Rush illustrates is as true fifteen years ago as today. Instead of hanging on the every word of every newspaper we should question are leaders, congressman, senators, and even Presidents but all with equal measures of respect. I wonder if what Rush has had to say will be equally disregarded in that light in a few years as Conservative propaganda?
In a whole this book should be brought into schools to balance out the body politic. It would be nice to see adjustments made to make campuses and high schools across the Nation free to embrace their ideology. Also liked the bit on how feminism has gone wrong over the years and scored drastic hits against it's own causes in the past.
