Pros: Very light, so it is easily transported from room to room.Very "user friendly".
Cons: Does not play burned cd's.
The Bottom Line: I recommend buying it, because it's cheap, and for the people who just want the basics, it's a good machine.

| acrobrat68's Full Review: Toshiba SD-1800 DVD Player |
This is a very nice DVD player to buy if you just want the basics. I got mine for christmas, and hooked it up right away. I take it back and forth from the living room, to my room, and it is very easy to hook up and carry around. I've also dropped it a few times (oh no!) and it's still working great, believe me, it was an accident. The only problem I really see with it is that it doesn't play burned cd's, and alot of the cd's I have are burned. Also, although the play and stop buttons are on the machine, you need the remote to go through the menus. So your pretty much stuck if you don't have it.
