The Bottom Line: Tylenol Allergy Sinus relieves all my symptoms quickly. The only negative side effect is slight drowsiness, but not enough to effect daily activities.

Let me start out by saying I used to live in Northwestern Pennsylvania, where the air is clear and there's very little pollution of any kind. Eight months ago I moved to a city which has been rated as having some of the worst air in the country. My sinuses could have told you that without doing a survey! I never had sinus problems before I moved here, but now it's not uncommon for me to wake up any time of year with a pounding sinus headache, congestion so bad I can barely breathe and watery, itchy eyes. Some days it was so bad that I couldn't even move my head without feeling dizzy, nauseous and weak, so I'd just stay in bed.
I tried several remedies (generic sinus medication, nasal spray, ibuprofen) but nothing seemed to work. Then I discovered Tylenol Allergy Sinus and it's like I'm a new person. Within 30 to 45 minutes after taking two caplets all my symptoms are gone. It took care of my headache, congestion, runny nose, sneezing, itchy throat, watery, itchy eyes and post-nasal drip. One dose lasts 4-8 hours, depending on the air quality outside. The only negative side effect is slight drowsiness. But unlike other sinus medications, Tylenol Allergy Sinus doesn't totally wipe me out. I'm able to go about my daily business without feeling as if I need a nap. That's saying a lot for me because I have a very low tolerance for medication that causes drowsiness.
I paid about $6 for a package of 48 caplets. It does come in other sizes and forms (gelcaps and geltabs), but I'm not sure of the price.
The dosage is "Adults & Children 12 & Older: 2 caplets every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 8 caplets in 24 hours. Children Under 12: Not recommended as can cause overdose." Although that is the recommended dosage, I find that some days I don't even need to take a second dose.
The ingredients are Acetaminophen 500 mg, Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg, Pseudoephedrine HCI 30 mg, Carnuaba Wax, Cellulose, Corn Starch, D&C Yellow #10, FD&C Yellow #6, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Polyethylene Glycol, Sodium Starch, Glycolate, Titanium Dioxide.
