Likewise Restless (Reply to this comment)
by aunatrl
Yes! Tylenol PM makes me sleepy, as it's supposed to, but I too get the Restless Leg thing from it, which keeps waking me up! The only time I'm affected by that is when I take Tylenol PM. Every now and then I fool myself into thinking "oh, surely it must be something else" and try again, and every time I get up like I did this morning and think "How dumb AM I?" (This time I threw away the rest of the ouch, expensive, bottle.) Did a Google search on diphenhydramine (active ingredient) and "Restless leg" and found this posting. Hope someone in the pharmaceutical business checks it out - thanks for confirming that it's NOT my imagination.

If a full dose make you feel groggy, I probably will have to stick with regular Tylenol.

It feels like I'm falling... (Reply to this comment)
by mattygroves
...I've had what might be termed as restless legs, but without the benefit of a sleeping aid. When I'm half asleep, I'm half dreaming, and in the dream, I trip and fall. My legs then perform a little fandango, thus waking me up and starting the whole thing all over again!
Cheers,
Kate

Thank God somebody knows that I'm talking about. When it first happened and I told people, they looked at me like I was nuts and I have never found anybody who has had that happen to them as well. At least I know I'm not crazy now :)

Restless Here Too (Reply to this comment)

I, also, have given up on it because of Restless Legs. A glass of wine works better for me.
