jayman2008's Full Review: Uniden EXP4241 2.4 GHz 1-Line Cordless Phone
Paid $15.00 for this at Wal-mart, from past experiences buying Uniden this is the best sounding overall phone, and the cheapest Uniden I ever bought, other few phones weren't that great in the Uniden line. This phone is basic, but it's alot of bang for the dollar. It has clear reception, easy to use options, I like the ring on the phone you can set it to 2 different tones, and turn it up loud or soft. I like the fact this phone is light weight, but yet pretty sturdy with sturdy buttons that are easy to get to. The only thing I'm not crazy about is where they put the volume at so you can turn up or down the persons voice you're talking to, not that big of deal I'm kinda getting use to it. The phone is black Black, with an Orange light on the phone itself and on base. Like I said pretty basic, but a good phone for your home office. I don't use Caller ID service and I already have an answering machine so this phone is perfect for me. You don't always have to spend alot to get a good cordless phone, sure there are better phones out there that cost more, that might sound a little better . I'm not saying all cheap phones are good either, you just have to get lucky, or read a review from People to get the phone you want. Go for this one, if you want something nice for the money.
