| groman's Full Review: ViewSonic A75f 17 inch CRT Monitor |
I purchased my ViewSonic A75f just over a week ago, and I found it better than I expected. The image is sharper than on any other 17" I have seen.
The frequencies on low resolutions are very good. Up to 110 on 800x600.
After an hour of so, of monitor shopping, I was left with two choices:
Sony Trinitron 17" and Viewsonic A75f. The image clarity is almost identical on both, so I decided to compare specifications. They were also almost identical to each other, beside the fact that A75f has higher frequencies. They are both based on a trinitron tube.
Since A75f was $50 cheaper, I chose it, and I don't regret it.
My previous monitor made my eyes sore after only 2-3 hours of working, on A75f I've sat for 5.5 hours straight without getting tired.
The only concern some people might have is the two thin, barely visible, horizontal lines across the screen, typical of a trinitron tube.
