| goillini34's Full Review: Vivitar ViviCam 3615 Digital Camera |
I originally thought this was an ok buy, but after taking it on a trip for four days and going through 4 sets of 4 AA batteries, I got fed up. Plus, when it was dark outside, it would not focus and the images came out blurry and grainy.
It does take wonderful bight sunlight pictures and is very cheap as far as digital cameras are concerned. If you have very good rechargeable AA batteries, then you might be ok. But typically rechargeable batteries should not be used with cameras...(Rechargeable AA batteries are TYPICALLY not good for cameras. Many cameras have rechargeable LITHIUM ION batteries that are a lot better suited for cameras.)
There is no zoom and there is a timer built in. If you all the other technical details, then check out the other ratings from other people. They give much better technical descriptions. I am just giving details about how poorly it handled for me and how disappointed I am in the image quality and battery life.
I wouldn't purchase this camera unless you are only going to use it in bright sunlight (preferable somewhere near the equator where daylight lasts the longest...) I returned it for full refund.
