Overview
I have tried many cheap and premium grills and the Weber Genesis Silver B has lasted longer and with less maintenance than any of them. Flareups are usually kept under control with the design, but you still get that good grill flavor.
The three burners allow for easy indirect heat cooking as well as control over cooking things which require different temperatures. When you turn a burner on, it quickly lights from the other burners.
I cook on it for a family of five several times per week.
Rotisserie
I bought the rotisserie for it and have been very pleased. It will hold up to two pork butts and with the back burner on low with some soaked mesquite and hickory, I get some fabulous smoked meat in 6 to 9 hours. This is enough meat to feed 25 people (even after I sample much of the meat while cooking ;-)
Spacious!
This grill has a lot of cooking room, which I need when I grill sweet peppers, onions, zuchini, squash, and cremini mushrooms in an olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and italian seasoning mixture. We make this weekly and it takes a lot of real estate - so this grill has room for simultaneous meat cooking.
Reliable
I regularly coat the racks with crisco to "season" them like one does with an iron skillet. The burners have held up fabulously - they work as well after 3 years as the day I bought it. The lighter continues to work after 3 years and the cover works well (extra purchase) to protect it when not in use.
Nice Shelves
The fold out shelf on the left gives me enough room to conveniently manage both uncooked and cooked foods at the same time.
Suitability
This grill is suitable for most folks. If you host huge parties, then you might want to get two.
Friends Like it Too
I have recommended this grill to friends and they, too, have been pleased.
I have had ProChef, Sunbeam, and other grills in the past and they were less reliable.
