| mimilafl's Full Review: Casio EV-570 2.5 in. Handheld TV |
Need to catch the news, sports, entertainment shows, or even your favorite comedies while working late at the office -or- as a passenger {NOT the driver now!} in a moving vehicle? Then get the CASIO EV-570 handheld TFT Active Matrix color TV.
Just received this new "e-toy" last week and am having a ball. Working late at the office means you end up missing either some of your favorite shows or just catching up with what's going on in current events. This little beauty is perfect for those times and then some.
The 2.5" screen is just the right viewing size and it's small enough to fit into your briefcase or purse [even your pocket!]. You can also buy a separate adapter if you don't want to spend $$$ on the 4 AAA batteries it eats up [if you don't already own rechargeables].
The picture quality is exceptional for the price paid and the fact that it's a handheld. And as frugal as I am, I would have paid MORE now that I've experienced it.
I would have preferred some type of push button channel selector, though. This one works like the old fashioned radios where you must scan for a station. So, for example, if you're currently watching channel 4 and want channel 11, you cannot simply select channel 11. You have to continually press [or just keep your finger on it] the scan tuner.
But that's a small thing. I am very happy with this gadget and expect great enjoyment for years to come.
Thank you.
