Ever since the Avenger came out, I have dreamed of owning one. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I bought a brand new 1999 last August. I love it!! The car is loaded. I don't think there's an option it doesn't have. I am a Dodge fan, wouldn't own anything else. (The new concept neon SRT will be my next car when it goes into production.) I love driving this car.

There is a slight hesitation when you really crank on the gas, but after that, get outta my way. This car flies, it corners like it's on rails, and it's just fun to drive. Had her going 80mph on a straightaway, felt totally in control. I haven't had any problems with it. People turn and look when they see this car coming.

I have an Infinity CD/cassette with equalizer and eight speakers. Awesome sound, the rearview and my outside mirrors are constantly vibrating. No distortion here! Got leather, don't like it. Too cold in the winter, too sticky in the summer. V6 automatic purrs like a kitten. A friend got in the car and asked if it was even running, very quiet.

Rear defrost takes awhile to actually defrost the back window. Heats up real quick. Shifter position not convenient when trying to insert and eject CD's, totally in the way. Very close to the ground in front, so when you're going down a driveway or out of gas station, you have to take it real slow and on a nice angle to keep it from scraping the pavement.

But still, I LOVE this car.
