Worst car I've ever owned

by joeqconsumer: Written: Apr 02 '05

Product Rating: 1.0 Recommended: No

Pros: I haven't died in it.
Cons: $3000 per year in repairs

Maybe every now and then you just get a lemon. This car has been a nightmare for me since I've had it. Got it from a dealer as a used fleet car with 10K miles in October of 2000. Among the many problems I've had with his car- I've had to replace the turbo (not covered by warranty although I produced oil change receipts)- then had to replace the engine- YES THE ENGINE- then the turbo went on the 2nd engine too. Just bad luck according to the service manager of the SAAB dealer. I'll never buy a SAAB again.
Amount Paid (US$): 31000
Condition: Used
Model Year: 1999
Model and Options: SE Turbo
