Exterior
Styling is very sleek and still up to date even though this model has been around for 5 years. Some changes were made in the bumpers and front fascia to modernize the look. If you compare a 2002 model to a 1998 model, you can notice some differences. I had the dealer install a factory spoiler. It is an excellent addition and makes the car appear higher in back. The stop light is built into the spoiler and adds an extra touch. Not too many Accord coupe owners have added the spoiler, so it allows my car to appear different then other Accord coupes.

Interior
The silver exterior matched with a black ebony leather interior is very luxurious and rich looking. I am used to beige and bland interiors. This is definately a very expensive looking car both inside and out. The leather is very soft, and the seats are well sculpted and very comfortable. The quality of the fit and finish is perfect.
Silver satin trim has been added this year surrounding the center radio dials, and air conditioning controls. This replaced the woodgraining from years past. The silver accents make the interior more modern and freshens the appearance. I am 6 feet tall, and there is plenty of leg room. There is also lots of headroom, even though this car comes with a moonroof.

Engine
The V6 engine is a pleasure. Very smooth, acceleration is very quiet, with very little pressure needed on the gas pedal to accelerate. This car is fast! You can reach 60 MPH without realizing it. And the best part, it uses 87 octane regular gas. I love it when I have to fill up my tank.

Automatic Transmission
Push the gear shift to D4 and accelerate. You wont feel anything other then the transmission shifting effortlessly. No whining or noises when you reach cruising speed. This tranny is top notch.

Handling
Michelins are included on every new V6 Accord. The EX V6 has been upgraded to wider profile 17 inch tires. Definately adds to the smooth ride and better handling of this car around turns and on straight roads. The tires are rated as A,A,400. The 400 rating means that they will last much longer then normal, another plus. New this year are restyled Mag wheels for the 17 inch tires. Really nice looking.

Radio
The EX V6 comes with a upgraded 6 speaker, 6 CD in dash , AM-FM radio. You can have at your disposal as many as 6 CD's to choose from at any time. Very convenient. The sound quality is excellent and you can even control the radio from the steering wheel. The steering wheel controls allow you to change the volume up or down and change the ststions or tracks on a CD depending on what listening mode your in at time. There is even an anti-theft feature that disables the radio if anybody tries to steal it.

Conclusion
One of the best values on the road today, whether you are buying or leasing. The Honda dealers are offering lots of incentives and special prices to intice you. It is the best selling car in America, and now I know why.
