Decent running unit for the money!

I own two Compaq systems at home and this is one of them so I'd like to give you my input about this unit and how it runs!
When I first decided to buy this unit, I was a little skeptical because I was always told that anything with a Celeron Processor was a piece of junk and that I would have nothing but problems. Being the type of person that always likes to try it first before I post judgment on something, I chose to buy it, take it home and try it out! I figured since where I worked had a 30 day return policy, I'd run it through some tests and if it was a piece of junk, they would be getting it back!
As some of you know by reading my opinions, first impressions are very important to me and I'm a very hard person to please at times. I ran this through a series of tests and I'm happy to say that it passed with flying colors. Not only did the unit perform well but it had almost everything I wanted on it with the only thing lacking was a CDRW but that's easy to fix.
For those of you that are unfamiliar with this unit, it is a 500MHz with 96MB of ram and a 13GB hard drive. It also comes with a Zip drive for storing larger amounts of information on and a DVD drive which allows you to watch movies on your computer.
The only thing that had me AND Compaq puzzled was why there was no DVD player on the unit because it certainly was supposed to have one but they fixed that problem for me real quick by sending me a disk to load it on my system.
Overall, I would have to say that this is a great unit for the money and I'm giving it a thumbs up!
