Coming from the point of a medical transcriptionist, you cannot be without your RED MARBLE mouse. Believe me, I know, as I work on production and need to get around as fast as possible.
After being on the web the other night for 5 hours plus-- mostly on Epinions.com, my right hand wanted to just 'fall off.' I didn't realize how crimped my fingers and wrist were. The reason being, is that I was constantly rearranging that standard mouse, fixing the cord, the mouse pad, picking it up and moving it around. It was constant action.
The next day though, I went to my trusty Office Max and decided that I needed to check out that big RED MARBLE that some of my friends use and love! It's so much faster to maneuver around with this new-found toy!
I must admit it took a bit of getting used to, as I kept wanting to pick it up and move it, as I had to with the other one. No so with this though. You simply put it on your desk with no mouse pad needed again. It just stays there. The RED MARBLE is in the middle and of course the left and right clicks in the normal position. You simply rest your hand on the mouse and I use my index finger to move around with the marble, and when you scroll down you left-click while moving the marble. Click normally as you would at will.
No more mouse ball fuzzies-- It is very rare that this ever gets clogged up like the traditional mouse. If it does, simply, remove the big red marble by lifting out, take a q-tip or even by blowing around the sensors, it is gone. Then you just replace the marble by simply setting down until it clicks into position.
Once you get this little gem, you'll be asking yourself what took you so long. Easy to install and takes up less room on the desk. So, happy MARBLE-MOVING folks!!
I'm happy to say that after nearly a year, it is still the best product on the market, and especially if you need to do a lot of clicking such as working in a windows program as opposed to wordperfect.
