Depending on the Compaq notebook model each packs a hardpunch with power.The Armada 1500c comes with a 56K V.90 modem, plus simultaneous access to the standard CD-ROM, diskette drive and 4 gb harddrive. This computer is very durable, I personally use it for personal enjoyment playing games like Quake2, Unreal Tournament and Half-Life and it runs great about 50 fps. Every Armada notepad is certificied by the NSTL to be year 2000 compliant. The only con I could find about this product is I felt that they dont give you enough ram, the Armada 1500c comes with 32 megs of ram and its upgradable to 160 megs. If you do buy this computer you should definatly upgrade from 32 megs to alteast 64 depending on what you are using the computer for. The Armada 1500c runs about $1500 dollars, shop around before you buy it. Even at this price its a real a steal
