8MB Upgrade, Great value!

Pros: 4 times the memory, reasonable price

Cons: Voids warrantee, lose use unit for 5-7 days

I also used Tony in NJ to upgrade my Palm V to 8MB. The work was done on time, he kept in communication via email, and the price ($109 in December 1999) was very reasonable. Can you tell the case has been opened? No. Do I have more memory now than I'll ever need? Only time will tell - but I'll probably upgrade to a newer Palm device before I run out of memory.

What's the down side? 1)The case is opened so you lose the manufacturer's warranty but, Tony guarantees his work for 30 days. 2)I was without my Palm V for five days, but a friend loaned me one of his extras (it's great having a friend with an "extra" Palm Pilot) 3)The $109 could have bought other stuff, but there are always other demands on your money.

Any regrets? No!

I highly recommend Tony in NJ for your Palm V memory upgrade.
