The HP6L is No Longer a Good Deal. (Updated 7/1/01)

Pros: Somewhat small footprint, and it is a true Laser printer.
Cons: Not a good deal for the price anymore. Horrible drivers. Mechanical problems.

Multi feeding problem (Reply to this comment)

Yes, go to HP's website and search for the feeds multiple pages problem for the 6L. They send you a paper separation pad applicator that does the trick nicely. Works great now after almost a year of frustration with paper feeding. We'll see how long it lasts...

Re: Foot Note (Reply to this comment)

I tried three of those HP pad fixes on an HP Fax (with the same vertical feed system), and all three failed. Looking on forums, many people had it fail. It is apparently pretty hard to get it to install just right. I haven't had the nerve to try it on mine yet (I haven't had to print for a while), but I should try to install it, and will update my review when I do.

could be upped with a bit more information like: what the printer comes with (software, cables, and ink cartridges). You know, telling people what they'll need to buy a long with the printer, and what they won't, if they do decide to get this printer.
