I've never in my life used a scanner before, and so when I first got this one, I wasn't sure how easy it'd be to use. I'd heard horror stories from friends who owned scanners, and I didn't really know what I was dealing with.
As soon as I opened up the box, I knew it couldn't have been too bad. I'm not a computer expert, but plugging everything in was not difficult at all. The cable that came with the scanner was a bit short, but it worked fine.
The scanner is so easy to use, and it comes with programs that are almost self-explanatory. It takes awhile to learn all the features of image editing, but overall it's worth that extra time.
The pictures are pretty nice in quality, but they do come out a little dark once in awhile. With easy editing, that can be fixed.
The only problem I had was remembering to turn on the scanner before turning on my computer. It caused my computer to freeze several times..
