Over the course of the last 5 years I've tried a number of ISPs. Earthlink, by far, has been my favorite because of its dependability, features, and intuitive start and home pages.
Rarely I have ever experienced a dropped connection. My initial connection speeds far exceed those of other ISPs that I've tried, including AT&T Worldnet, and what used to be Bell Atlantic.
For $19.95/month you get unlimited internet access, a usable, practical start page, the ability to easily create a homepage, and an almost fool-proof connection.
My only qualm w/Earthlink is its association w/Sprint. The billing practices and customer service of Sprint (both long distance and PCS) are notoriously flawed. I have yet to find this to be the case w/Earthlink.
