Pros: Great sound!
Super comfortable
Looks great
Super long detachable cord
Cons: Might be pricey for non-audiophiles (I think they are great for the price)
The Bottom Line: You can't go wrong with these unless you're some sorta professional or rich-guy that can afford more expensive ones. Good for gaming, music, etc.

| riggy's Full Review: Sennheiser HD 495 Ear-cup Headphones |
I don't profess to be an expert and I can't tell a note from a tune but for the average audiophile wannabe like myself these cans are great. I spent almost 2 hours in an electronics stores with a friend of mine comparing different headphones from low end to high end. For the uninitiated it's very hard to discern sound quality each headphone seems to have their own flavour, eh. So a lot of it is personal taste. But after a while you can really pick up the differences in quality and believe me after 2 hrs of listening you get really picky. Some people might choke on the $100 price tag or some might not bat an eye but for those that want a solid set of cans these are hard to beat. My buddy bought the 570's and they do sound better but it's incremental and for the average listener the 495's are just as good. Not to mention these babies are super comfortable (even wearing glasses!) they look cool too. Great for late night gaming but you might have to change your mp3 collection because you can really hear which ones sound crappy. However, they might not be the best for portable players because of the high impedance(at least not without an amp).
