I HAD to buy another cordless(Panasonic ofcourse!) just because my previous Panasonic(digital answerer, keypad only in receiver) was broken by two and a half year old! Spilled juice on it, what a guy! Repairing it would cost me atleast $55. Otherwise there was nothing wrong with that phone.. I have been using it for 4 yrs and probably it would have lasted me another 5-6 yrs, for minimum.
So.. I was in the market for the new one... I had my mind set on Sony, but somehow it did not have the features I wanted. It had everything except answering machine... I also looked at Toshibas and Uniden, but they did not catch my attention at all.... Finally, I walked in "Nobody beats The Wiz" store and laid eyes upon this particular phone. Guess what! somebody returned it(why? i still cannot figure out) and they were selling it for 50% off....
It is a great phone will all the features I that was looking for(900MHz, Digital Answering machine, Dual keypad, built in Caller Id). And it also has the other nifty features.... paging, itercomm, belt clip, attachent for hands free kit etc. Battery life is good. I have been using it for almost 5 mos and no complaint so far....
