This telescope is a great product. It is well built, sturdy and extremely powerful. I had originally bought the telescope for astronomy, but pretty soon i was spying on my neighbors and watching birds also. I don't think anyone can resist turning their telescope on the house down the street to see what's up. It must be human nature! Anyway, this scope is well suited for astronomy, having variable magnification and precise control over angle and inclination. It is also very stylish, and would make a good display piece in addition to being a useful research tool. It would make a great gift for any gadget lover. Recommended!
