traydon's Full Review: Bushnell Voyager 78-9565 (120 x 60mm) Telescope
This telescope is great with its easy setup, lenses, the height and length of the tripod setup. It also includes several manuals than most telescopes in many different languages, which may causes some problems when you need to put it together. All though the finder scope may see things upside down and cause some minor problems viewing planets and stars. It will take some time to get the hang of controlling the finder scope but in due time you will get it right. The counterweight at the front of the telescope may be a bit of a nuisance but what it does is actually quite useful it helps keep the telescope centered and in place also the latitude lock knob helps as well.
Now I will tell you about some of the key parts of the telescope. The first one up is the objective lense that would be the part at the front of the telescope that you see out of. Another part is the main telescope tube, another part you look out of. 3rd is the declination lock knob this one controls the declination of the telescope. 4th is the ascension lock knob you can pretty much guess what its for. 5th and 6th are the counter weight and the counter weight shaft where the weight goes on. 7th latitude lock knob controls of course the latitude. 8th is the tripod legs, 9th is the screws that control the length and height of the tripod. 10th and 11th is the accessory tray and the accessory tray supports to hold up the tray. 12th is the tripod middle section that keep up the entire telescope, they go with the tripod. 13th is the horizontal adjustment lock the control the way the telescope turns. 14th the fine adjustment cables (2) which you can turn to adjust the momentum of the telescope. 15th is the rack and pinion focusing mechanism like I said its what focuses everything. Last but not least the cradle it holds the telescope in place.
This is one great telescope for looking at the stars and planets
