Cheap Adequate Headphones

I bought these headphones because they were only $15 on sale, and they were about what you would expect for $15. The durability is neither great nor terrible, and the sound quality was about the same.
Price
I bought mine for about $15 which is a great deal if you'd rather have these than earphones stuck in your ear. If you'd rather have earphones, well they come with earphones too.
Durability
The headphones lasted about 2 years before they started dying out on me. Past experience tells me this is about average for the life of headphones, and for $15, I wasn't that upset about it. I've had past experiences where $100 headphones have done the same. The leather padding directly over the head is comfortable, but it fell off after about a year's worth of use.
Comfort
The feel of the headphones when silent is very comfortable. There is nothing that feels cheap on the outside of the headphones. However, if you listen to anything for more than 5 minutes, they do start to get VERY warm.
Sound Quality and Ambiance
I'm not a big sound geek, but the sound quality was absolutely perfect when they worked. However, for some part I did get these headphones to keep my study and work space relatively quiet, and on this part it failed. These are not quiet headphones. Even at a moderate volume, these headphones are too loud and inappropriate to be used in a library. Neither do they drown out the sound of the sound around you (TV, roommate talking on phone, etc.). They only muffle both ends. i.e. Your roommate won't be able to listen to what you're listening to but they'll be able to hear it quite clearly, and you will know your roommate's talking, but you can't hear every word of his/her conversation.
Extras
They come with a pair of earphones that still work long after the headphones died out. Nothing special. Just regular earphones.
Overall
The headphones are good for listening to music or whatever else you need in a public place, or for a more concentrated ambiance when you're alone in your room with the TV off, but they're not very good otherwise. They are probably not the best solution if you're trying not to disturb those around you, can't tolerate warm headphones, or want something that will last a really long time.
