| Div1Runner's Full Review: Panasonic ShockWave SL-SW515 Personal CD Player |
Tired of those annoying skips in your music? Well I certainly was and I decided I was tired of wasting my money on cheap little portable CD players that couldn't withstand a fly landing on them without a break in the music. I got the Panasonic because I often take my CDs with me on busses going to sporting events and I needed something that could handle the abuse of a vehicle with the shock absorbtion capabilities of a brick. Once you turn on the skip protection of this unit you never have to worry about what the next jolt is going to do to the sound you are listening too. With other units, this might mean a severe drain on battery power, however, with the Panasonic you get the added benefit of technology that specifically works to improve your battery life. This results in more than 15 hours of music per set of batteries. If you are willing to spend the extra money, I highly reccomend this system. If not, go for one of the lower Panasonic models. Bear this in mind though, you get what you pay for.
