| trnguyen's Full Review: Canon Elph2 APS Film Camera |
I love this camera the moment I first look at it! I love it even more when I first open the tiny, sleek looking camera.
Most cameras nowadays, especially the digital cameras are somewhat complicated to operate, but the Canon Elph2 is very easy to use.
It has some very neat and useful features such as a feature that allows you to select the quantity of prints you want of a specific photo. This feature saves you money and is useful when you want to take two or more pictures of the same object! For example, let's say you want to take two to three of the same pictures of your son/daughter and send each to your parents, your wife's/husband's parents, and you keep one. Instead of processing the picture three times at the developing center, all you have to do is set the print quantity to three!
Sometime when I look at some of the pictures I took in the past and wondering what was the date this picture was taking. I turn the picture over to check if there was a date, but all I saw was blank. Well, not anymore, because the Elph2 has the date/time feature that allow me to set the date/time on the front of the picture as well as on the back!
Besides putting date/time on the picture, you can put a short message such as "Happy birthday" or "Merry Christmas" on the back of the picture. This feature is not useful but it is neat to have.
My parents are very meticulous about cameras. When I first bought it, they said, "What are you going to do with that thing? It's so small, it can't do nothing." I proved them wrong by taking some pictures and showed them. They were surprised to see the high quality that came from such a small camera! Take my advice; good things come in small packages.
If you are a big person with big hands, I wouldn't recommend buying because you would have trouble pressing the buttons.
So, if you are looking for simple to use camera that offers stunning quality, look no further. The elph2 is perfect. If you decide to buy this camera, I recommend going to Ebay. Ebay was the place where I bought the Canon Elph2 for $136.00 brand new in box compare to $200.00 at Circuit City.
Thanks for reading my review, and good luck buying and choosing your camera!
