I am aware of the ordeal to go through when buying cameras--I have gone through several in my lifetime. You have to worry about price, manageability, how well it works, battery life, zoom, etc. Don't worry. All of your problems were solved the moment that you clicked on the link to this E-Pinion.
I received my camera this Christmas and have taken about 15 rolls since then. They have all been picture perfect, with the exception of the 7 rolls I took while driving from a moving Range Rover during two weeks on a Kenyan safari. I guess the motion got to me (and my camera!) But after I got back, my pix have been as good as new.
Although this camera is a bit expensive, I firmly feel that it is worth the $110+. It will last a lifetime of memories!
Also, since I have gotten my camera and placed in it a Fuji Film battery, I have not had to replace the battery yet! I'm going on 1+ years!!
And, don't you just hate it when you have to load your film on the left side of the camera, so you've got to do it upside down? Well, with this camera, you don't have to!! It loads from the right side of the camera so you're left hassle-free!! (Even I can load film in this camera!!)
The zoom also works wonders! I went to Kenya for Spring Break this year, and I wanted to get close-ups of the lions without really getting close up, and my cam sure helped me do so! I also really appreciate the auto-rewind!
I hope the "discovery" of my Epinion has convinced you to at least consider the Fuji Discovery S700 Date Cam, so you can have a better camera, which leads to better pix, and overall clearer memories of those cherished moments!
