MsSlick1's Full Review: Konica Minolta Freedom Zoom 140EX 35mm Film Camera
I purchased this camera well below the list price of $511. I am very pleased with it. It has many features including red-eye reduction, auto rewind, and 140x zoom. I'm not a camera expert, but I learned much when I went to purchase a camera. 140x is the highest zoom you are going to get in a point and shoot camera. Any higher zoom will require you to buy a manual camera with a equally expensive lens. I wanted a point and shoot, so this was my best bet. I learned that the most reliable manufacturers in terms of service and guarantees are Minolta and Olympus. I have heard that Fuji cameras are not well made. If you're looking for a camera that's easy to use, produces quality photos, and has an expansive zoom range, the Minolta Freedom 140X is a good choice. The flash is pretty bright, so warn the subjects your photographing.
