| doorkeeper's Full Review: Nikon AF240SV Film Camera |
I am about to travel to Europe and would like to bring a reliable camera with me. As a backpacker, my budget is limited, as always. I found this product on Yahoo! Shopping. At first I couldn't believe that you can actually buy a Nikon with less than $40! This is a deal that you can't beat.
The features of Fun Touch 6 are all that you need, I mean if you are not a picky person or a professional photographer. Red-Eye reduction, 28mm lens, auto-focus...I especially like the 28mm lens. A few months ago I borrowed an extremely expensive camera from my friend to take a few pictures of my dorm. Even though I walked to the opposite side of the street, I still couldn't get the full view of the apt.. But with Fun Touch 6, it fits right in. Another feature is that you can choose whether or not to use the flashlight by simply pushing a small button.
It is definitely an easy to use camera. Point and shoot. No specific skills needed. It weighs only 6 oz, which makes it easy to carry around. It uses two AA batteries, thus you don't have to spend a lot to buy some expensive batteries.
The cons with this camera is, it is a little bit shabby in terms of design. Of course you can't expect too much for its unbeatable price. Everything is mechanic, nothing is digital. The counter counts from 1 to 3 to 5...Which makes it a little bit difficult for you to know how many pictures exactly you have taken. There is no timer of any kind. So you won't have the date and time this picture is taken shown on your photo. You have to manually open the lens cover each time you shoot a picture.
But for $40, you really can't find a better deal.
