I have owned the Denon AV Surround Receiver for over a year now. This receiver is great. I have never had the slightest problem with it and I enjoy it very much.
It has so many functions and features, you can't be disappointed. Let me explain some of the features.
The tuning button which is used to select your choice of radio stations. Your input setup for phono, dvd, tv, vcr 1 and 2 cd, and tape.
The surround mode has tons of selections such as, stereo where the sound comes out of the two front channels; 5 ch stereo where the sound comes out of all your speakers; matrix for us with stereo music; rock arena, which gives you a little more vibration and kind of an echo sound; jazz club, for different type of music, again good vibration and sound; and video game, good sound with your games.
The remote control is easy to use, has all the same options and can be programmed to control your television as well.
I think this receiver is great, simple, and a pleasure to use. Oh and it looks great too!
