| buda911's Full Review: JBL HLS810 Main / Stereo Speaker |
First thing I have to say is, damn. I just got a pair of these speakers and when I turned these babies on, my windows were rattling and the dogs were running. I may only have a 35 watt/channel receiver but these speakers make up for the missing power. These speakers have 150 W power handling and put out bass like a sub.
I get the pair at Best Buy for $389 (1999) with a 4 year warranty and 15' of monster speaker wire. If you're looking for some below average price and above average performance in a pair of speakers, get these.
If these speakers don't put out enough base for your liking, I would advise getting either the JBL PSWD112, PSWD110, or the DPS10 subs. All of these run between $200 and $500 and would go great with these speakers.
