| muls's Full Review: Sony DVP-S530D DVD Player |
I purchased this DVD player after seeing my brother's. The picture quality is amazing. VHS doesnt come close. I have mine hooked into a Sony 36" Wega TV, so the viewing experience is complete.
This unit has many features that most units will have, however two that is doesnt have are the ability to zoom on a particular frame (although this is probably a novelty feature that wont be used much in the long run) The other thing it does not do is play cd-r's, so no "burned" music can be played on this. The unit has a built in dolby digital decoder for you home theater buffs. Now that DVD's are more readily available, a DVD player is a must for movie fans. I would definetly recommend this model.
Setup was very easy, and the remote is easy to navigate. All in all we are very happy with this purchase and it was a very affordable $350.
