Sillybob76's Full Review: Sony DVP-S530D DVD Player
My friend owns this DVD Player, and I have gone over to his house numerous times to watch movies. The DVD Player is top of the line as far as performance. It plays the movies beautifully (skip-free and about as high-definition as I have seen). All the great aspects of DVD shine with this player: incredible sound, very nice menus, and of course, breath-taking visuals. The interface is also very easy to navigate and extremely user friendly (I did not have to ask my friend how it worked - I just put in the Disc and ran it). The minuses, however, include the fact that it only holds one DVD compared to a disc changer (although this is typical for most). It has many buttons and extra features, but does run on the expensive side (over 500 dollars including tax). Personally, I believe this is a wonderful piece of equipment but you could find something which does the exact same for less. Nevertheless, if you want the model of an excellent DVD Player, look no further than Sony's DVP-S530D.
