| hhassell99's Full Review: Toshiba SD-2109 DVD Player |
I really wanted a DVD player, I have for a long time. We finally selected the Toshiba because we have a home entertainment center of the same brand.
The dvd is nice - but I can't credit that all to the player itself. The player has a remote with some nice features, including angle switches and 2 levels of zoom (3 if you count the original!). However, what is disappointing is that there is virtually no control switches on the dvd itself, so when the remote gets lost in the couch or the batteries go dead with no replacements on hand, you have no way to maximize the DVD player.
The functions take a while to learn if you are not familiar with DVD players (I still haven't learned them all!!) But they are also really fun to play with.
The movies are clear, and it loads very quickly. It is simple to use the basic features and serves the purpose in a DVD player.
