| alexmant's Full Review: Aiwa NSX-AJ50 Shelf System |
I got this cute little stereo system a little more than a year ago for my birthday. For this year I never had any trouble with my AIWA.
It is excellent. It looks awesome and it has great features. It is a well-made product. First of all it is not huge (like many of MINY stereo systems) so you can put it any where you want to, especially if you are a college student living on campus or live in the studio apartment - it's really good.
It has a very classy look. The machine defaults to a demo mode, which makes it look like a cool jukebox with a mixture of lighting effects. It's probably more of a video game effect than a lighting effect, but it is still cool.
This little machine pumps about 160 watts total output power, has a multi-amplifier system, plus an electronic graphic equalizer and BBE sound enhancement. And my favorite; it has karaoke - that means you can sing along with any of your favorite CD or you even can do what I do - record yourself on the tapes (if you a very good singer like me of course), only thing you need for karaoke it a not really expansive microphone. And you are ready to rock and roll.
You can play tapes, AM-FM, and CDs. You can record tapes from the radio, the CD, or another tape, or from the Karaoke. You can, according to the manual, program up to 30 tracks to play on the CDs. It has a rotary CD changer system (carousel), which fits 3 CD's.
Overall; its just very reliable little stereo system. I love it and I am sure you will to.
